This policy explains how Brett's Mechanical & Air Conditioning ("we", "us") handles personal information, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry through this website we collect the details you give us: your name, phone number, email address, vehicle details, your message and any photos you attach. When you book online, your booking is handled by our booking provider, MechanicDesk, under their own privacy policy.
How we use it
We use your details to answer your enquiry, quote and carry out work on your vehicle, and keep records of that work. We don't sell your information and we don't add you to marketing lists without asking.
Who else sees it
Enquiries are delivered to us by email through a sending service (Resend). Our website is hosted on Cloudflare. These providers process information on our behalf and may store it outside Australia. We only share your details with anyone else where the law requires it.
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we delete it when we no longer need it.

Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, contact us first and we'll work to fix it. If you're still not satisfied you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
