How long do brake pads last?
It depends on how and where you drive. Stop-start traffic wears them faster than highway kilometres. We measure what's left at every service so you're not caught out.
Do I need new rotors every time?
Not always. If they're above minimum thickness and not warped, they can often be machined. We'll measure them and tell you.
Is brake fluid really a service item?
Yes. Brake fluid absorbs moisture over time, which lowers its boiling point. Most manufacturers list a fluid change every couple of years, so check your logbook or ask us.
